How do I fill in the user consent, opt-in, opt-out and help sections of my 10DLC plan?

User consent is the most important part for the carriers, because they want to be sure you are not a spammer. Describe step by step, as if giving instructions to someone, how people give you consent to receive text messages. The easiest and most standard way is: people go to your website, click a button such as Get Started, enter their phone number, check a box such as I agree to be texted, and click Sign up or Submit. Give the link to the page with the form.

Reviewers visit your website and compare it with what you wrote, so the button, the form and the checkbox must all be there and match. If you say there is a form on your home page, there must be one.

Opt-in keywords: filled in by default. Leave them unless you run special keyword marketing.

Opt-in message: sent as soon as someone opts in. Keep the default wording, which includes message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies (if you have a set frequency, such as one message per week, put that instead), and reply HELP if you need help or reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Opt-out keywords: STOP and END. When someone opts out, the system will not let you message them again.

Opt-out message: pre-filled.

Help message: the auto-reply when someone texts HELP or INFO. It reminds them who you are and that they opted in, for example by pointing to your website.
